Get What We Want

by Susan Slack on December 4, 2016

So we’re practicing identifying what we want.  Next is GETTING what we want.

We are all quite good at expressing what we don’t want, however like getting into a car and knowing where we don’t want to go, the car has no place to go.  But when we know exactly where we do want to go, the car can get us there as we steer the car accordingly.

So just like steering the car, getting what we want requires action.  If we want a specific career, we need to fulfill the requirements for that career.  If we want to write a book we must take the steps to learn what is required and have the discipline to write.  If we want to buy a certain house, we must make inquiries about the conditions to buy the house and then proceed to fulfill those conditions.  Etc…..

Getting what we want may also require the help of others.  For this we must learn to specifically ask.  When what we want is for the better good of others, people and the Universe love to help, but we must ask for them to know what to do and how to help.
The problem is more common in older men in their age group of 20s and buy cheap viagra http://raindogscine.com/?attachment_id=101 30s experience this sexual debility in near future, plausibly due to unhealthy lifestyle. We can practice how to ask by starting with the small stuff.  Remember in the last blog how I suggested we go to a restaurant and identify what we want without looking at the menu?  Now it’s time for us to ask for it.  When the server comes to the table we can ask if the cook will please make a hamburger medium-rare with a fried egg on top, no bun and a side of grilled asparagus or …….. The first few times we do this we may be surprised how amenable the server and cook are to doing this.  It’s my experience that people really enjoy fulfilling a request from someone of what they want.  I know I do.          Stay tuned for the next New View for you.  – Love What We Have.
